Informational Meeting
Prior to the start of tryouts in the fall there is an informational meeting for all interested students. The meeting is usually held the week after the Syracuse University Club Sports fair. Tryouts
Tryouts are traditionally held the week following the informational meeting. Tryouts are a lesson with the team's coach where she can determine your riding level as well as your attitude in the ring. The attire is casual, so show clothes are not required. Riders must signup for tryout time slots by contacting us or at the informational meeting. The payment for a tryout is $40.

Required Fees/Dues
In order to maintain the team and to be successful in competitions each member is expected to contribute financially to support lessons, travel, and showing. While Syracuse University provides some assistance, it is not enough to support the team each year. Each member is expected, on top of dues, to participate in fundraising activities, which can serve to lower dues each semester.
The price of dues usually hovers around $600 for the fall semester and $400 for the spring semester.
Please note:
We understand riding is expensive and we will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your needs.

Please note:
- Dues are subject to change based on the number of teammates, the amount of fundraising, and Syracuse University's financial support.
- Additionally, we have team apparel available for purchase.
- Gas to and from lessons is the responsibility of each driver and his/her passengers. Gas to shows will be calculated by the treasurer and each teammate will pay a flat rate per show, excluding the drivers. Gas per show is traditionally around $10.
